 **UPDATE** -
Well as you can see, I couldn't keep away. I stayed in bed all day yesterday and that was enough rest as far as I'm concerned! I do have my feet up on the sofa as I type due to Mr icklebits nagging! (That's not really our surname by the way!  )
I've sent out the weekly newsletter but its not the busiest one I'm afraid.
Operation went well, just got to wait for results in about 4 weeks time. In other words, lets just forget all about it!
Thank you to everyone who sent their best wishes, much appreciated. It's nice to know people who don't even know me, care enough to take time out to wish me well. icklebits is becoming the community I envisioned when I started it.

I just wanted to let you know that I'm going in to hospital tomorrow morning (Wednesday 13th April) for an operation so will be out of the "office" all day. I'm supposed to rest for 2 days but I really can't see that happening!
As you know the Weekly Update is always published on a Friday. If I can get near my computer then it will be published as usual. If I feel rougher than I'm hoping, then I will try and get it out to you at the weekend instead.
If however by some miracle I don't log on to the computer before the weekend then I will reply to all emails on my return.
Oh and as I won't be doing any writing, if anyone gets the urge to write an article or tip etc to fill the pages on my return then that would be very much appreciated! features@icklebits.co.uk if you're up for the challenge! (Aren't I cheeky!)
