Tips and Hints - General
Written by Hazel Dowd

Do you ever get annoyed with having to constantly re-do a window display in miniature? Hazel has shared with us a great tip for securing your window displays...

begin_quote_purple_smallI have recently done a window display and every time I opened the door or placed a miniature on, it fell over.   To make this easier for me and anyone else who might just be interested - I cut a piece of card the same dimensions at the display top.    I then placed all the miniatures I required with grip wax holding them in place.  All I then had to do was place the whole card with display in the window and no one knew except me!

This would  also work if you had a piece of card cut to the floor sizes of rooms,  of course mark with tape on the card where a door , window  or fireplace might be, you then place the furniture in whatever position looks best.  A kind of mood design board. end_quote_purple_small

Best Wishes,   Hazel.
